Hello! and thanks for stopping by.

I started this page back in 2012 as part of an inquiry unit at the University of Canterbury in my last year of the Bachelor of Teaching and Learning in primary education

Since graduating I have spent many months living and travelling overseas. I was lucky to live in Wales, London UK and British Columbia in Canada. I travelled around all parts of the UK, France, Italy, Spain, Greece, the Phillipines and Canada. What an incredible journey! And much of it I was lucky enough to be with my boyfriend Ben who is also quite an incredible photographer. I made some long lasting and special friendships with friends across the globe.

Amongst all this travel I managed to squeeze in some teaching too! I picked up a contract in London through Tradewind teaching agency and was so lucky to teach for three months in a reception class at Barclay Primary School in Walthamstow, London. I then came home to New Zealand for a short time and spent the mornings teaching maths and reading in a year 3/4 class at Ashgrove Primary School in Rangiora. The travel bug bit again and I was off for the last long time to Canada for a year of working in the outdoors.

I am now working at Ashgrove School again as a New Entrant teacher. I am loving it and am finally working toward gaining my full registration.

If I am not teaching you will find me riding my bike, skiing, diving, rock climbing, having summer holidays and hanging out with my incredible friends and family. I the happiest when I am on an adventure!
